Alexander O’Neal grew up outside Chicago, Illinois and has been involved with horses from a young age. Alex started off competing in Area IV events and foxhunting, then became a working student at Holling Eventing in Ocala, Florida soon after leaving school. Inspired by what he saw there and in the eventing community, he decided to commit to the sport fulltime and become a professional.
Soon after, he took a position at Grey Fox Farm in Ocala and was a key part of the sales business there. Alex went on to work for World Games Gold Medalist and Olympian Clayton Fredericks as a rider, helping to produce and campaign top young imports. During his time at both places, he brought multiple horses to the Advanced level with wins both nationally and internationally. Alex struck off on his own in 2015 and has had great success in sales and developing up-and-coming top-level horses.
