MEET ELLIE
Elinor O’Neal found her way to horses at a young age through her mother who is an avid foxhunter and MFH with Rocky Fork Headly Hunt in central Ohio. Ellie grew up fox hunting and participating in Pony Club events and it was through Pony Club that she had the opportunity to volunteer at Rolex Kentucky CCI4* in 2001.
Ever since then she has been fully committed to her career in eventing. After getting her start in Ohio, training with Canadian Olympian Bruce Mandeville, Ellie made the move to Ocala, Florida, to continue her education. She has trained with Karen and David O’Connor for most of her career and has also ridden under the eye of Leslie Law, Clayton Fredericks and Captain Mark Phillips. Ellie has been named to the USEF Developing Rider List three times, completed her first CCI4* in 2016 and went on to represent Team USA on the Nations Cup Team at Boekelo CCI3* that fall..
